New York fashion week still buzzing and there you could see not only a lot of of stylish clothes, but even a Lexus car with sneakers. Yes, you have read it right!

Last October, Nike, together with designer John Elliott, released developed version of Air Force 1. Now this designer has joined forces with the car manufacturer Lexus to present the new UX model.

At the weekend party, the Lexus UX, featuring a special art installation, was complemented by special tires inspired by Elliott's Air Force 1 sneakers. The tires is decorated with legendary AF1 patterns and details of the style and design - embroidered Nike logo, holes and different layers of white leather.

Last year's release of John's Elliott AF1 version had a shadow effect that highlighted other sneakers design details. Usual Nike logo was replaced with an embossed one, and two-layer seam was used.

Lexus saw similarities between their new model and the Air Force 1 boots - both were created for city streets. “The first Lexus UX is designed for the city. We wanted this concept to go beyond the boundaries and honor the city style - this is how the idea of creating tires inspired by classic street-style kicks was born” - said Lexus Marketing Vice President Lisa Materazzo.

John Elliott also was happy about the ability to collaborate with Lexus - "It's great to combine street-style stories and Air Force 1 design details with a brand like Lexus. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate art and this will add extra energy to this classic. It's always fun to work with brands that are beyond the fashion community because it allows us to grow and push our own boundaries.”

Designer John Elliott stands out with his creativity and ability to work with a wide range of representatives, for example last year he presented a collection of clothes and shoes with NBA star LeBron James.
