First released in 1973, the Nike Blazer made its mark on the basketball court for its simplicity and broad range of colors, first worn by George "The Iceman" Gervin. However, it is no longer marketed as a basketball sneaker, it is now considered a retro/casual sneaker. Today, the iconic shoe is customizable with a variety of fabrics, textures, colors and more for a modern, personalized look and feel. The shoe is now marketed within the Nike Skateboarding sub-brand. Suede or leather upper for a stylish fit. Outsole made of environmentally-preferred rubber for durability and traction.
